Setting up the ATR for JCOP Cards
There are a few ways to configure the Answer-To-Reset (ATR) for your JCOP cards:
Predefined ATR: We typically ship cards with a standard ATR like "JCOP21" or "J2A040".Alternatively, you can provide your desired ATR string before ordering the cards, and we will configure them accordingly.
Transport Key (TK) Provisioning: For large orders, we can ship cards pre-provisioned with your specified Transport Key. This key is crucial for secure communication and authentication.
Global Platform ATR Modification: All JCOP cards support ATR modification using Global Platform commands. This allows for greater flexibility in customizing the ATR after the card is manufactured. Note: This requires an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with NXP for access to the necessary documentation and tools.
