The SafeNet iKey 2032 is a small, portable USB device designed to enhance security for network and application authentication, email encryption, and digital signing. It stores private keys and digital certificates on a secure crypto device, eliminating the need for a smart card reader.
The iKey 2032 uses two-factor authentication, requiring both the physical token and a user PIN for access. This provides high-assurance security compared to traditional password-based methods. The device is FIPS 140-1 Level 2 validated and offers onboard cryptographic functions for key generation, storage, authentication, encryption, and digital signing.
It easily integrates with various systems through its USB interface and supports a wide range of applications.
