Safe SafeNet's iKey 4000 and iKey 2032 are both USB-based authentication tokens designed to provide secure access and protect sensitive data. The iKey 4000 is a portable PKI, two-factor authentication token that offers onboard key generation and cryptographic processing. It contains 64K EEPROM for secure storage of passwords, private keys, and certificates. The iKey 2032 is a smaller device with 32KB of storage, also used for network and application authentication, email encryption, and digital signing. Both devices eliminate the need for smart card readers and offer strong user authentication through a combination of the physical token and a user PIN.
